Adam McMillan

Joining the Boyden Taiwan team in 2005, Adam is a valuable addition to the Greater China practice. A regional executive with in-depth exposure to markets in Greater China, Japan, Korea, and ASEAN, Adam brings a strong understanding of the businesses, people and cultures in Taiwan and the rest of Asia.

Adam has 15 years working experience in leading multinational industrial and information technology companies such as Emerson Electric, Halliburton, and MRO. Functionally his experience is rich. He has been a general manager, a regional sales manager, and a product manager, and most recently a regional Director of Consulting Partner Alliances – Asia. His contributions include the development of long term strategic partnerships, building sales channels, and new product launches. A strategic planner with strengths in communication and international branding, Adam brings this skill and experience set to Boyden’s clients in Taiwan and the region.

Adam has been based in Taiwan since 1998, when he was General Manager CSI, a division of Emerson Electric. Later he held a number of senior regional management positions with MRO Software, a US-based enterprise software company. Adam is a fluent Mandarin speaker and active participant in community events. He is married to an ROC citizen and has two children. Adam received his Bachelor’s degree from Earlham College
