Mr. Bartley has joined Boyden as part of the founding team of the firm’s “Americas Desk” presence and is currently a Director for the Miami, Florida based practice.   After a 20-year international career in large management consulting firms, Mr. Bartley transitioned to executive search in early 2001, founding the Miami presence of an international search franchise, where he built a regional desk practice, acting as a bridge between Latin America and the US/Europe for multinational clients.  In early 2004, Mr. Bartley was recruited to another large search consulting firm as a Partner in the Miami office, from where he participated in the firm’s IT and Professional Services practice groups.  

Mr. Bartley’s career has evolved from a strong IT focus early on, to a broader process view, and more recently, to a general business and human capital perspective.  Deep experience in a wide range of industries (mostly industries with strong information, process and technology components) and business cultures (small private to large publicly held companies, to governmental agencies), have given Mr. Bartley the ability to rapidly understand and add value in multiple business situations.   Born and raised in Latin America of US parents, and having shared his personal and business life between Latin America and the United States, Mr. Bartley is a true cross-cultural executive with a keen sense of the challenges and opportunities that exist for multinational companies doing cross-border business.

Throughout his career, Mr. Bartley has also had an active public life in professional associations and academic institutions, including leadership positions with chambers of commerce, public speaking engagements, participation in academic curricular development, and regular published writing on topics of technology and management.  

Mr. Bartley holds a BS of Management Science from Florida Institute of Technology, and an MBA in International Management from Baylor University.
