Bob Concannon

Bob Concannon currently serves as Managing
Director and Head of Boyden's Silicon Valley Technology Practice Group.
Prior to this role he led Boyden's Global Technology vertical for 7
years; his charter to coordinate worldwide search activity in the
technology sector with Fortune 100 key-accounts. He has served as a
Director on Board for Boyden, and on the executive council to our
partners in EMEA, Asia and The Americas, and has worked with start-ups
in France, London, Switzerland, Australia, Rome and Belgium. Prior to
joining Boyden, Bob served as President of the BridgeGate group,
Silicon Valley’s largest technology search firm. Bob joined BridgeGate
with 10 years of technology experience working for both Pioneer
Electronics and Sony Corporation in sales and marketing. He focuses his
personal portfolio on searches for Board Directors, C-scale executives
and Vice Presidents of Marketing, Sales, and Engineering.
Bob
has 19 years of technology executive search experience, and works
closely with the venture capital community on search assignments for
clients in the areas of Enterprise Software, Internet Infrastructure,
and Networking/Communications. He was serving the Internet industry
from its early inception in 1993 and 1994 by working with then unknown
startups Netscape and Yahoo! His portfolio clients have included well
established companies like Microsoft, Oracle, 3Com, Cisco and Nokia,
and a host of start-up companies funded by tier-1 venture capital. He
has completed over 500 search projects in his career with many of those
projects reaching successful IPOs.

Magazines as well as being featured twice on ABC’s World News Tonight
with Peter Jennings in their Silicon Valley report, Bob has served as
an expert on Silicon Valley trends for over 15 years. He has been a
guest lecturer at University of California Berkeley, and Stanford
University . His CEO Board Group is currently attended by Silicon
Valley’s elite and has been featured in a special on ABC World News, as
the only support group of its kind in the country.
He has his Bachelor’s degree from the University of the Pacific.
