Christiaan, Director in Boyden Brussels, brings 25 years of broad business expertise and understanding of Life Sciences as well as Healthcare. His client list includes Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology and Medical Device companies and his placement portfolio includes CEO, Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs, Finance and Sales & Marketing.

Christiaan has fulfilled a number of international C-level roles in Pharma and Healthcare and developed expertise in both cross-cultural management and entrepreneurship in businesses.

Prior to joining Boyden in 2007, he co-founded an e-Health company with focus on Disease-Management, responsible for strategic, organizational and HR aspects of the business. Previously, he served as a Partner of a well known European executive search firm, specializing in Life Sciences and Biotechnology. He built his Life Sciences career with Sandoz Ltd. (presently Novartis Ltd), including 6 years as General Manager in Saudi Arabia and finally Managing Director of the Hong Kong / PR China affiliate.

Christiaan holds a Master’s degree in Biology from the University of Amsterdam and completed an AEP at the Kellogg school of Management, Northwestern University, USA. He is fluent in Dutch, French, English and German.
