Gérard Fournier currently serves as Managing Director for the Boyden Interim Management practice in France. In 1997 he started from scratch this new activity which generated 2,5 millions euros of revenues in 2003 and Boyden Interim Management is recognized as a key player in this practice.

Over 30 years experience in executive management positions both in France and at European level in Blue Chips companies and in situations where he could rapidly define vision, operational strategies, values and missions with strong emphasis on successfully transforming difficult short term situations in less than 12 months. He has the religion of results both in growth and in profits.

Work Experience:

• From 1969 to 1979, Gérard Fournier worked for Rank Xerox in various operational and marketing management positions firstly in France where he served as sales and Marketing Manager. In 1975, he became Marketing New Products Director at the Rank Xerox London Headquarters in charge of the European and the middle East subsidiaries. He launched the first color copier in the world history.
• 1979 - 1990 : Sales & Marketing Managing Director Europe for Agfa-Compugraphic, leader in pre-press equipments. He turned a dealer structure into a direct organisation with subsidiaries in every major European country bringing Europe to a level of 300 millions dollars of revenues in 1990.
• 1990 - 1996 : Vice-President Europe for Scitex, a leading High-Tech company in digital equipment for the printing and publishing industries. He successfully changed the global strategy of the group in switching the product strategy from proprietary to open systems. In 1996, the revenues for Europe were of 400 millions of dollars with 620 persons.
• In 1997 he joined Boyden to launch the Interim Management practice in France and opened a branch in Lyon in 2002.
