Gustavo Caillaux has an Industrial Engineer degree from the Universidad de Ingeniería. He also holds a Master degree in Business Administration from the Escuela Superior de Administración de Empresas.
Mr. Caillaux has more than 30 years’ experience in multinational companies and in the local and international activity. He has covered top and general management positions with Grupo Bunge & Born (ex-La Fabril, today Alicorp, Molinos Río de la Plata and Textil Trujillo, today CREDITEX) and Química del Pacífico (Quimpac). He has been Partner at Amrop-Hever and President at TASA Worldwide, where he specialized in financial services, mining, agro-industry, technology, telecommunications, fishing and energy industries. Prior to joining the executive search industry, he had been Secretary of Industry, Tourism and Trade as well as Secretary of Fishery and President of the Committee for the Promotion of Private Investment (COPRI) for the Peruvian Government. He had also been President of the Board for the Andean Development Corporation (CAF) and a promoter of the Camisea gas mega project. At present he is Chairman of the Board at Cimm Peru and Member of the Board at Alicorp, CERPER and Quimpac.
Mr. Caillaux joined Boyden in May 2003 as Partner and Managing Director of the Peruvian office.
