Jeff Stark, Managing Director, joined Boyden in 2002 following more than a decade as a partner in highly regarded boutique search firms and as a consultant focusing on individual and organizational effectiveness. In his search practice he has utilized a consultative approach and analytical skills to deliver high impact executives who align strategy, resources and business processes to enhance profits and competitive advantages.

Mr. Stark has worked with clients in a variety of industries in the U.S. and abroad. Many have been leading manufacturers of industrial and consumer products, with a concentration in process industries. He is a leader of the chemical industry practice with engineering materials, industrial, specialty and fine chemical manufacturers as clients. Applications have included pharmaceuticals, food, flavor and fragrance, electronics, coatings, plastics, and textiles. Searches have also been conducted for consumer packaged goods companies and for producers of durable goods.

Recent searches have included CEO, CFO and group/division profit center management positions. In addition to these executive/general management searches, Mr. Stark has conducted numerous searches for functional leaders in manufacturing, engineering, marketing, sales, supply chain management, research, information technology, finance and human resources.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Stark spent 20 years in corporate human resources positions, serving last as a Vice President, Human Resources at Engelhard Corporation. In addition to functional leadership positions, he also held specialist positions in management and organization development, compensation and staffing. Previous employers include SCM Corporation, NL Industries, Inc., and Continental Can Company. He holds a Masters degree in Industrial & Labor Relations from Cornell University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Lafayette College.
