Karl C. Lange joined Boyden after heading, for eight years, his own consulting firm in executive search, data processing and value engineering, which he merged with Boyden in 1983. Lange specializes in general management, financial management and board positions without focusing on specific industries.

From 1997 to 2001 Lange was Chairman of the Board of Directors of Boyden World Corp.

After graduation he spent two years in San Francisco as a Senior Marketing Analyst for Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corporation. Returning to Germany he worked at Metallgesellschaft AG for eight years. Initially responsible for the commercial project management of a large chemical plant in Sardinia, he was later given the responsibility of Deputy Manager of the Central Staff Finance and Corporate Planning. From 1972 to 1976 Lange was a member of the management of the Aluminium Fabricating Division of Metallgesellschaft, in charge of sales. He successfully contributed to the restructuring of his division. After leaving he founded his own consulting company.

Karl C. Lange graduated from the Free University of Berlin with an MBA degree.
