Kong To is the Vice President and Chief Representative of Boyden Beijing office.  He is the principal consultant and brings to Boyden a track record in delivering senior level assignments that has required both local, regional and global reach.  He has been praised and recommended by his clients for consistently reaching the objectives and adding value to each assignment he undertakes.  His extensive network includes management professionals in HR, Finance, Marketing & Sales, IT, General Management.  

Kong’s career started in the London, UK where he worked in marketing for multi-national companies’ such as Bass Breweries and Motorola (Cellular phones division).  Kong’s executive search career began in 1998, when he was hired from the UK to join a leading International Executive Search firm in their Hong Kong office. In this firm he was subsequently promoted to become the Country Manager and was responsible for running key regional accounts such as GE IS, Computer Associates, MCI Worldcom, British Telecom, Intel and Cisco as well as other hi-tech organizations during the technology boom, with a strong focus on marketing and business development at managerial levels.  In 2003 Kong was invited to join a reputable firm in Beijing, China, where he led the business development activity and successfully executed senior management level searches.  His executive search assignments included clients in Media/PR/Advertising, Oil & Gas, Professional Services, Mining, Wireless (telecoms), Retail Banking (HSBC), Automotive, Government (British Embassy T&D), and Industrial sectors.  His expertise extends beyond Greater China to other Asia Pacific regions such as Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan, Korea and Australia.  

Kong was born and educated in the UK, he completed a HND in Aeronautical Engineering and continued to obtain his Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Manufacturing Management from the University of Hertfordshire.

He speaks fluent English, Cantonese and conversational Mandarin.
