Neil Sims is a Managing Director in the San Francisco office of Boyden and a member of the firm’s Global Technology Practice. Neil joined Boyden after spending 15 years in technology search with his own firm. He built and managed a boutique search practice with offices in San Francisco and Seattle. He worked closely with industry pioneers at Apple, NeXT, Macromedia, Oracle and many others.

Much of his work over the past 10 years has been focused on the early-stage community. Neil has worked closely with founders and venture investors focused on early strategies for creating their leadership teams. Neil has a well-established reputation for delivering key thought leaders and targeted skill sets to the early organizations of companies like Informatica, Ariba and NetSuite.

Neil joined Boyden in order to combine his rich history in Silicon Valley with the global reach of an International firm. The worldwide team of the Boyden Global Technology Practice offers a wealth of resources that enhance and accelerate Neil’s ability to meet the needs of his clients with top talent.
