Reina joined Boyden in 2003 to be responsible for the financial services practice. She brings with her over eleven years' executive search and selection experience, specifically focusing on investment banking, institutional banking, financial markets, and funds management. During this time Reina has originated and successfully completed senior assignments at the CEO and General Management team level and assisted those placed executives to build their teams.

Prior to joining Boyden, Reina worked with two publicly traded search and selection firms where she was critical to the expansion of the companies’ capabilities in banking and finance and shifted them from mid-management selection business to higher level search businesses.

Before moving into executive search, Reina gained eight years investment banking experience. Her early career commenced on Wall Street working in the Mergers and Acquisitions Department of The Chase Manhattan Bank. At Chase in New York, she provided financial and industry research and analysis to support Mergers, MBOs, and hostile takeovers. Reina was selected to participate in the highly regarded Chase Associate Credit Training Program.

After four years overseas, Reina relocated back to Australia and joined the Investment Banking Division of CS First Boston. There she provided corporate advisory services and marketed debt and equity products to Australia’s top corporates. Reina was a primary driver in the establishment of CS First Boston’s Privatisation and Corporatisation unit which successfully brought to market Australasia’s first privatisations. These included NZ Telecom, the sale of AUSSAT, and the introduction of the second telecommunications carrier.

Reina holds a Bachelor of Economics (Honours) from the University of Melbourne and a Graduate Diploma in Management from AGSM, University of New South Wales.
