Tatsuro Nagase joined Boyden in 2006. With over 25 years of experience in the banking and insurance industries and 7 years experience in staffing industry.

Tatsuro was with The Bank of Tokyo Ltd. for we years (currently The Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ Ltd.). He was mainly in commercial banking, such as Corporate Banking, Funds and Foreign Exchange. His time there included foreign assignments in Jakarta, Indonesia and Seoul, the Republic of Korea.

Tatsuro also has 2.5 years of experience working with a Japanese-owned British insurance broker in London as a Director. His responsibility was developing new financial products, which were designed for Japanese financial institutions in the U.K.

After coming back from London, he worked for an American staffing company, Manpower in Japan for 7 years. For the first 2 years, he developed business relations with major banks, securities houses, and insurance companies in Japan as Corporate Account Manager and for the latter 5 years, he was responsible for global sales campaigns/contests or global employment/people surveys etc. as a Global Communications Manager.

Tatsuro holds a BA in Economics from Keio University in Tokyo, and also studied at the U.S. Temple University in Japan ( The Executive MBA Program ) during 1996-1997.

He is quite accomplished at translation from English to Japanese and was a translation team member of the U.S. CPCU Insurance Text Book ( Japanese version ) issued in 2003.
