Allan Williams-Jones graduated from the University of Wales, Swansea, UK with a Bachelor of Science degree in Politics and Government. He continued in his studies to receive a Master of Arts in International Relations. Allan has lived and worked in numerous countries including the United States, South Africa, Brazil, the United Kingdom and China.

Allan’s previous appointments include a large British marketing consultancy where he specialized in providing marketing solutions to FMCG industries. His experience in key account management and delivery of tailored marketing management tools and creative solutions continued in his next role where he focused on the entertainment and media sector.

On arriving in China Allan studied Mandarin at Beijing Languages and Culture University, following which he set up a regional sales office in Beijing to cover the Asia Pacific market for a premier global publication specializing in the transportation and logistics sector.

Allan began his recruitment career in China harnessing his local and international experience to successfully execute senior level searches for multi-national companies as well as various foreign governmental agencies.

At BGES, Allan’s executive search experience includes placing senior executives in a variety of industries including IT, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing and FMCG.

Allan is a result-orientated executive search professional specialized in providing his client’s with a consultative and value added approach. Having operated in China for four years he has developed extensive networks in many business sectors.
