As Managing Director at Boyden Atlanta, Brian successfully manages projects within a diverse number of industries including automotive, aviation/aerospace/defense, chemicals & plastics, biotechnology, finance, consumer products, technology, and general manufacturing.

Throughout his executive search career, Brian has completed global C-suite, senior management assignments and more, for clients such as Rolls-Royce Aerospace/Energy, Honeywell, Eaton Corporation, Volkswagen Group, Invitrogen-Life Science, General Dynamics, Cabot Corporation, and more. 

Prior to joining Boyden, Brian served as an Executive Vice President with a global executive search firm; he also was a Senior Managing Partner and founding member of a midsized search firm, where he helped create and refine the firm’s executive search process.

He brings an exceptionally strong research and recruiting background to his clients and methodology, including thorough candidate development and effective understanding and communication of the company's cultural perspective.

Before entering the executive search industry, Brian was responsible for sales and marketing at Internet Security Systems (now part of IBM). His career began in the chemicals and plastics industry in a variety of sales, marketing, and management positions for multiple major companies in both in distribution and manufacturing.

Brian earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in economics and political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also studied at George Washington University and American University, both in Washington, DC.

He also served in the United States Marine Corps as an aide to the Assistant Secretary of The Navy, for Research, Engineering and Weapons Systems. Prior to that, he served at Marine Corps Headquarters where he was responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the Marine Corps Recruit Options Center (MCROC). MCROC is the nucleus of the United States Marine Corps' Recruiting Programs, establishing and disseminating all programs for the entire Marine Corps recruiting effort. During his service Brian also served as a Marine Aide to the 1984 Presidential Inaugural Committee, and earned a Joint Services Achievement Medal.
