Bert Sadtler is a Principal and a member of the firm’s Global Technology and Government and Public Sector practices.  He has a diverse technology background spanning more than 23 years, as well as significant business development and operational expertise.  

His long and successful history of public sector consulting includes partnering with agencies at all levels of government. He has a diverse technology background spanning more than 23 years, as well as significant business development and operational expertise.

Known for his outstanding customer service and exhaustive follow through, Bert strives to become an extension of his clients, delivering value time and time again in long-standing partnerships. Bert specializes in consulting to the U.S. Federal Government as well as clients in the defense contracting, information systems, technology, and telecommunications sectors.

A significant portion of Bert’s career prior to joining Boyden was with Pitney Bowes, Inc., where he was responsible for developing clients in the Federal, State, and Local government sectors in a number of senior positions. Private sector clients included key accounts such as Airbus, BAE Systems, Bank of America, and Wachovia. Beyond his significant tenure with Pitney Bowes, Bert held key management roles with Acer America as well as Nortel Networks.

Personally as well as professionally dedicated, Bert has used his search expertise to benefit the at-risk and under-served population of ex-offenders. As a volunteer with Jericho, a program funded by the Department of Labor’s Prisoner Re-Entry Initiative, Bert provided mentoring and career coaching to ex-offenders in Baltimore City, giving them the confidence as well as the technical skills to rebuild their lives and return to positive, productive roles in the workplace, the community, and their family.

Bert holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Marketing, with a minor in Computer Science, from Towson University in Maryland. He is a Certified Postal Consultant and has training certificates in a number of technical platforms.
