The Brazilian Market

In a world still facing economic uncertainty, Brazil is one of the bright spots. Perhaps we were excessively optimistic three years ago, but Brazil continues to demand new management talent as investments become more mature. Domestic demand continues to outpace forecasts, and multiple infrastructure projects are stimulating the construction sector and creating jobs. The government stumbled a bit in 2012, but in 2013 we are seeing policies to accelerate growth and reduce the high cost of business, including a plan to reduce energy costs for manufacturers. In addition, excitement is building for 2014 World Cup and Summer Olympics two years after that, sparking an increase in foreign direct investment. Brazil is on a path to long-term economic growth and Boyden, having been a successful business within that economy since 1968, is ideally positioned to help local and global organizations alike find success there.
