“The two new offices and the three new partners holding regional industry specialist responsibility are tremendous additions to Boyden,” said Andreas Landgrebe, Managing Director of Boyden CEE. “We consider the Bucharest office a strategic hub in South Eastern Europe and our bridgehead to expand our presence into the countries of former Yugoslavia. The Bratislava office, strongly supported by our successful team in Prague, will be in charge of serving the numerous multinationals from the automotive and service sector having their regional headquarters in Slovakia.”
Along with opening two new offices Boyden announced the on-boarding of two partners, which each bring in-depth understanding and more than ten years of consulting experience in their specific sectors:
Nina Plattner and Kerstin Roubin provide more than ten years search and consulting experience for executive positions and are retained by a broad spectrum of clients including leading listed companies, start-ups as well as family owned enterprises.
Ms. Plattner is recognized for her experience in filling technical and commercial executive roles and management positions as well as very specific expert functions in the national and international Construction and Real Estate Development Business and related sectors. Her clients rank amongst the largest global construction, building materials and real estate organizations supporting their operations in the EMEA region and in emerging markets beyond the region.
Ms. Roubin’s search experience includes top executive mandates within the healthcare, infrastructure and consumer industry. She manages complex, cross border search assignments, and strategically consults her clients at executive and Board level.
Ms. Plattner and Ms. Roubin are pleased to be joining a leading global search business, one that substantially helps its associates leverage their industrial experience by means of participating in worldwide search assignments and by getting access to the knowledge of the global practice groups within Boyden.
"Particularly the challenges of the last 2 years did prove that industry expertise has been the strongest selling proposition towards our clients and a decisive differentiator to our competitors generalist approach" explains Mr. Landgrebe.
"With Nina and Kerstin joining our firm, Boyden is further focusing its service offering on highly diversified practices in Industrial, Life Sciences and Fast Moving Consumer Goods,” said Joachim Sauter, Managing Director of Boyden CEE based in Prague. “After a challenging year in 2009, the Central and Eastern European region is in the midst of a recovery and has a need for top managers locally, as well as expats that can steer the recovery and future change.“Together with the Boyden partners in Russia, Poland and Bulgaria, the regional operations of Boyden in Eastern and Central Europe consist of eight offices. All eight offices are led by partners with a long and successful track records in the executive search business. The Boyden team in Eastern Europe and Russia consists of a total of 50 employees from ten different nationalities working cross-borders, who collectively speak 13 different languages.
