John S. Gude

John Gude serves as an active member of three practice groups from the firm’s Chicago office:  Global Consumer Products,Global Industrial Products, and Technology.  He has almost twenty years of experience in executive search in these three core areas, and it has all been with Boyden in Chicago.

John has a strong track record of recruiting senior executives across general management and all key functional areas of industrial and consumer markets inclusive of sales, marketing, operations, technology, finance and human resources.  His experience base comprises large multi-nationals, diversified conglomerates, and emerging organizations.

He is also one of our most senior consultants in the management of international search engagements, having directed key assignments in Europe, Asia, and Latin America, while also serving the needs of offshore clients in the United States.  He has been recognized for transnational search management achievement through a special award from our Chairman.

Before joining Boyden, John served as General Manager in Chicago for Bozell, Jacobs, Kenyon & Eckhardt, the advertising and public relations firm.  He had previously held similar roles in New York and London.

Mr. Gude is a graduate of Indiana University, and he holds an MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Management.
