Rich Kolpasky is a Managing Director at Boyden Chicago and his center of operations is in the Detroit metropolitan area to better serve his automotive and industrial client base.

Throughout his distinguished career, Rich has gained extensive experience in global manufacturing operations management, product development and engineering, program management, organizational development/restructuring, and leadership. Prior to joining the search industry, Rich enjoyed great success in the automotive manufacturing sector having worked with two of the largest and most successful Tier I suppliers in the world, including service as President & CEO of North American Seating for Faurecia with revenues in excess of $1.2B.  Prior to Faurecia, Rich held positions of increasing responsibility at TI Automotive including 5 years as President of the Global Fluid Carrying business with 90 manufacturing plants around the world and revenues in excess of $1.5B.

In addition to his automotive background, Rich has significant experience in the defense sector as both a US Army Officer and a civilian consultant. As a consultant with Booz-Allen & Hamilton as well as with his own firm, Rich specialized in Department of Defense R&D contracts.

Rich holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an Executive MBA from Michigan State University. A former Commissioned Officer in the US Army Field Artillery, he is a current member of the Association of the US Army and the National Defense Industrial Association.
