Eric Price joined Boyden as a Partner in 2007 and works in the London office.

Eric graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University in Modern Languages, and is a fluent French and German speaker. After working in non-ferrous metals operations and trading for Marc Rich + Co., he undertook an MBA at INSEAD with the Louis Franck Scholarship.

He spent four years in venture capital in the early 90s with Ivory and Sime plc in Edinburgh, investing in management buy-outs and early-stage equity opportunities in the UK, France and Germany. He was then asked to set up a UK market subsidiary for the modular building division of OTTO, the German waste management group. The company provided concrete structures for specialist applications in the public domain. Eric subsequently bought out the UK operation and transformed the business into an integrated manufacturing, sales, maintenance and leasing business before selling it in 1997 to a UK competitor.

Eric’s executive search and recruitment career began in 1998, when he was invited in as a Consultant to Hanover Fox International in London; he subsequently became Director and joined the Board, building up the Telecoms, Media and Technology Practice, also specialising in Energy/Utilities and the Customer Service and CRM functions. He helped expand and develop Hanover Fox’s international network. Eric has recruited extensively in technology, industry and consulting; this includes wide-ranging work in mobile telecommunications at VP and SVP level, going as far afield as India to recruit a Director of Offshore Strategy and Operations. Successes cover the full range of mainstream and specialist disciplines at board level and below, as well as Partners and Directors in consulting firms.
