Cheryl Smith Bryan, Boyden's Global Human Resources Practice Leader, has more than twenty years of corporate human resources management, consulting, and executive search experience.  Her practice specialties include energy, healthcare and the human resources function.

During her previous association with a major international executive search firm and a boutique firm in Houston, Ms. Bryan conducted board and senior executive level searches for global clients in energy, healthcare, technology, professional services and manufacturing.  Her functional knowledge spans the corporate structure, with particular expertise in human resources, finance and accounting and sales and marketing.

Ms. Bryan began her career in the corporate human resources function, first in the energy industry and then in banking.  After an initial focus on staffing, she assumed a generalist role with additional responsibility for employee relations, organization design and career counseling.

A native of Texas, Ms. Bryan earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in management, with a concentration in human resources, from Texas A&M University.  She has been active in a number of non-profit organizations in Houston, including Dress for Success and the Southeast Texas Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
