Jan joined Boyden International AB in 2005, after 13 years as Executive Vice President of The Swedish Trade Council.

From 1988 to 1992 Jan was President and CEO of AB Bahco Tools and prior to that Executive Vice President of AB Thorsman, both subsidiaries of AB Industrivärlden, one of the leading Nordic holding companies. Jan has also held marketing and product development positions for Sandvik, Electrolux and General Foods, giving him vast international experience.

Jan is president of the Swedish-Russian Chamber of Commerce and boardmember of various organizations.

Jan holds a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Lund and a military training to captain in the reserve/paratrooper.
