Jeff joined the firm in 1988 and is the Managing Director who leads the not-for-profit practice as well as serving a variety of for-profit clients. He has successfully completed searches for President and Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Vice President for Operations, Vice President for Human Resources, Vice President for Institutional Advancement, Executive Director, etc., for a variety of clients. He also has extensive higher education recruiting experience, including numerous searches for senior administrative staff for both academic and non-academic divisions at all levels from Department Head to University President.

Jeff graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Psychology, and completed several post graduate courses through Central Michigan University and the University of Michigan. His previous experience includes 17 years as Director of Personnel and Staff Relations at Central Michigan University, followed by five years as a Supervising Consultant and National Education Practice Leader in the Executive Search Group of Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers).

Jeff has served on multiple not-for-profit boards, and belongs to numerous professional associations including the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC); the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM); the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR); and the Executive Search Roundtable/American Council on Education (ACE).
