John Gude joined Boyden in the Chicago office in 1990. Prior to joining Boyden, John had served as General Manager in Chicago for Bozell, Jacobs, Kenyon & Eckhardt, the advertising and public relations firm. He had previously held similar general management roles in the advertising agency sector in New York and London.

Since joining Boyden in 1990, John has developed a depth of executive search experience that includes general management and all key functional areas, with a concentration in sales, marketing, operations, and information technology. His industry experience encompasses consumer goods and services, e-commmerce, industrial products, and life sciences. As a search consultant, John has established a solid track record in successfully serving clients in these diverse industry groups, with a true consultative approach to executive recruitment.

John is also one of our senior consultants in the management of transnational search engagements. He has directed key assignments in Europe and Asia, while also serving the needs of offshore clients in the United States. He has been recognized for transnational search management achievement through a special award from our Chairman.

John has served as a long-term board member of a community-based, not-for-profit healthcare organization, and he has also served the American Red Cross as a Director of their Mid-America Chapter.

Mr. Gude is a graduate of Indiana University, and he holds a MBA degree from the Kellogg School of Management.
