Penny Terndrup is a Partner with Boyden, London.

Penny qualified as a solicitor in 1994 with City law firm Beaumont & Son, a leading name in the aviation industry (now part of Clyde & Co). Prior to qualification her case load included insurance and reinsurance ranging from major disasters to policy wording and Warsaw Convention claims. On qualification she specialised in corporate, commercial and asset finance and shortly after, moved to another City firm, Field Fisher Waterhouse.

Penny moved into recruitment in 1997 when she joined EJ Legal, becoming a Group Director shortly after. There, she concentrated on senior level recruitment of partners and their teams into private practice commercial law firms, and has engineered numerous high profile moves over the years.

The company expanded into providing legal recruitment services to commerce & industry, and further into professional services disciplines including company secretaries, human resource professionals and tax specialists. Penny spent some time being particularly involved with the recruitment of HR specialists, especially into law firms.

Penny has a BA (Hons) in Law and Italian from Cardiff University, LPC from Chester Law School, a diploma in Finance & Leasing and is completing a postgraduate diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy from the University of East London.
