Rob Storey is the Managing Partner of Boyden in New Zealand having joined the firm in 1997.

Previously, his corporate career background involved senior management positions in several sectors within New Zealand and Australia. His early career was in the market research industry and he is past President of the Market Research Society of New Zealand. FMCG experience was gained with SC Johnson & Son Inc. followed by Group Marketing responsibilities at Montana Wines and then Managing Director of Seagram Australia.

Other career high-lights include Managing Director of Saatchi & Saatchi in Auckland, and leading a joint-venture in telecommunications with Hutchison Wampoa. He was acting CEO of Sky Network Television, leading up to the launch of the pay-TV operator in 1991, where he was involved in equity structuring, establishment and employment of key executives from start-up. His broad career experience includes strategic planning, marketing, human resources, and consulting.

Rob is a member of several Boyden Specialty Practice Groups and has broad search experience across several sectors. These involve diverse assignments in Infrastructure, Consumer Products, Financial Services, Technology and Not-For-Profit organisations. Local and international executive search assignment experience includes a wide range of senior positions from Chairman, CEO, Finance, Marketing, Operations, IT and Human Resource positions in Australia and New Zealand. Leadership and non-executive director appointments are of particular interest. Robert has an MBA from the University of Auckland and completed advanced management studies with Boyden at Kellogg University, Chicago in 1998. He is a member the Institute of Directors, American Chamber of Commerce and New Zealand MBA Association.
