Vicky is a founder and partner with Boyden in the UK, focusing on placing top teams across a broad range of sectors.

Following a degree in French at Sussex University and the Sorbonne, Vicky joined IBM in 1984 to begin a sales career in the City. After successfully selling to a variety of international banks, she moved into IT consultancy before being appointed to a European Marketing role in Paris. In 1994 Vicky moved to Oracle’s investment banking team, based in the City (where she met Cathy Holley) and had a successful new business sales career.

In 1996, Vicky was asked by John Ellis to join a leading international search firm where as a Director, she specialised in senior roles within the financial services sector. In 2000 she was invited to join another search firm's CIO practice and worked on senior search assignments for clients including Morley Asset Management, JP Morgan, Sainsburys, and Allied Domecq.

In 2002 Vicky, Cathy and John founded Ellis Holley Maxwell, which, after the acquisition of the Boyden UK business later that year, was renamed Boyden.
