Mr. Okamoto, the Founder of Boyden Tokyo holds an Economics Degree from Doshisha University followed by Graduate Study at the University of Washington with Fulbright Scholarship.  

Mr. Okamoto's search career began at Cambridge Research Institute, where he was the President and Representative Director and led the firm in executive search, management audit, management training and KAIZEN QA consulting. He was also the President of Cambridge-Hewitt (compensation / benefit consulting) which was a predecessor of Chicago based Hewitt Associate Japan today. Prior to this, Mr. Okamoto was the President and Chairman of Osawa & Co. (U.S.A.) Inc., a publicly-held trading firm specializing in optical and audio products.
