New Czech Republic presence expands firm to eighth office in Eastern

Europe –

PRAGUE, Czech Republic – Boyden, a global leader in executive search with more than 70 offices in over 40 countries, announced today that it has opened a new office in Prague, expanding the firm’s presence to an eighth location in Eastern Europe. Boyden appointed Joachim Sauter, founder and former Managing Director of Sauter Consulting Group to lead its Prague operations.

Boyden Prague will provide client services in high growth sectors including Consumer Products, Technology and Industrial practices. The Czech and Slovak Republic are the center of Europe’s automotive industry, which has led to strong growth in other industries, including Information Technology, Telecommunications, Retail, Professional and Financial Services, which are all strong areas of focus for Boyden.

In 1993, Mr. Sauter founded Sauter Consulting, based in the Czech and Slovak Republic, to provide executive search services and help international companies develop their businesses in Central and Eastern Europe. Prior to Sauter Consulting, Mr. Sauter worked in the automotive industry in the Czech Republic and for Mercedes Benz in the United Kingdom. He began his professional career with Salamander AG in Retail Management in Germany.

Mr. Sauter holds a Diploma Betriebswirt, from the Fachhochschule in Wuerzburg, Germany; a Diploma in Management Studies from the Portsmouth Polytechnic, United Kingdom; and a master’s degree from the Ecole des Affaires de Europeene, Paris, France. He is also a certified Management Trainer and Coach.
