Mr. Ochoa is a Partner of Boyden Barcelona.

He started his professional career, in 1983, in one of the world leading auditing and consulting firms –KPMG- working as an auditor in several industrial sectors and finance companies; and in 1986, he joined EXXON MOBIL as a Sales Engineer and Retail Engineer.

In 1988, he joined TOTAL Resins Division – Cray Valley- having different executive responsibilities as Finance Director and Executive Director for its Spanish subsidiary. Under his management, it was developed the international strategy opening new markets in Middle and Far East countries. In 1997, Carlos was moved to TOTAL Inks Division - and transferred to Mexico City, as Finance Vice President and Deputy General Manager for its Mexican subsidiary -Grupo Graficart SA de CV-. Additionally, he championed and coordinated the Ink business activities of TOTAL in America.

In 1999, Carlos, was transferred to Barcelona to take up and lead TOTAL Inks Division -Coates Lorilleux - as CEO for Spain, Portugal, Northern countries of Africa and Caribbean islands.

In 2000, TOTAL Inks Division was sold to Sun Chemical, world leading printing ink manufacturer, and Carlos, in addition to its former responsibilities was in charge of the Offset and UV Division for Sun Chemical Group in Spain and member of the Offset European Advisory Board. He took part in the merge and cultural change between Sun and Coates in Spain. Also, was Member of the Spanish Association for the Paint and Printing Ink Manufactures.

Carlos earned a degree in Engineering by the Polythenic University of Cataluña and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from ESADE Business School (Barcelona). He, also, courses the Senior Executive Program for General Manager in Esade Business School and earned a diploma in Entrepreneurship & Innovation in Babson Business School at Boston.
