Heinz Georg is a Principal and a member of the firm’s Industrial global practice. He has a diverse background and a deep understanding of industrial manufacturing, as well as significant experience consulting to start-up subsidiaries in a number of countries worldwide.  

His distinguished career spans more than 21 years in executive and management positions within the industrial sector. Prior to joining Boyden, Heinz was a consultant with a top ten executive search firm where he focused on consulting to American and foreign firms in the U.S. requiring leadership teams to enter new markets and grow globally.

A large portion of his early corporate career was with HGM Maschinenfabrik GmbH, a leading machine manufacturer for the steel, aluminum, and electrical industry. Throughout his tenure, Heinz was responsible for the sales, marketing, and management functions for the firm, as well as establishing, hiring executives, and managing subsidiaries in various countries.

International experience includes managing HGM Maschinenfabrik’s subsidiaries in the American, Brazilian, East European, and Indian markets. Through his work with other industrial firms, Heinz expanded his geographical capacity to include Asia, Europe, and North America. He is fluent in both German (native) and English.

He is licensed by the Department of Justice in Dusseldorf, Nordrhein-Westfalia, to practice law in Germany and Europe, and has held legal positions within both the private and government sectors. Heinz is ex-military and has served in the German army.

Heinz studied at the University of Giessen and holds a legal degree from the University of Bonn Law School, both in Germany.
