Michelle is currently the Senior Consultant at Boyden Global Executive Search Hong Kong office. She has more than 6 years experience in search and recruitment of mid to senior level executives across Asia Pacific. Michelle earned a reputation of providing a consistently professional, ethical, accurate and high standard of service delivery to her clients.

Graduated from University College London with a Bachelor of Science in Information Management, Michelle continued her studies and obtained a Master in Human Resource Management. After spending 6 years in London to complete her studies, she then returned back to Malaysia and started her career in executive search. Michelle placed many senior management and technical positions across industry in the region. Some of the positions and titles she had placed included, Vice President for a department store, Chief Technology Officer, Director of IT Network Infrastructure, Business Development Director/Managers, Sales and Marketing Director/Managers, etc.

After 3 years in executive search in Malaysia, Michelle decided to shed her “comfort zone” and come to China to study written Mandarin. Michelle completed the Mandarin Language Certificate course at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and restarted her career in executive search in Shanghai with another international executive search firm and subsequently with Boyden.

Michelle is a multi-lingual professional recruiter who speaks fluent English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay. She is also the PR-Communications and Liaison Director for the Malaysian Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Shanghai and a Committee Member for the Malaysian Association in PRC.
