Tom Breitzmann has been an executive search consultant for more than 15 years. He joined Boyden in 2001 as Managing Partner. He has clients in different industries and is particularly experienced with international and cross-border searches. Amongst his clients are many entrepreneurs.

He started his career in executive search while still at university when he worked in the Berlin subsidiary of one the leading German executive search firms. Later he joined a subsidiary of KPMG where he became first Manager and a year later Senior Manager working for multi-national corporations across Europe.

In 1996 he returned to Berlin, building up the office of H. Neumann International, a European executive search firm with a strong focus on central and Eastern Europe. He became partner, doubling turnover in Berlin within two years.

Tom is well-connected in a number of different industries as he recruits primarily for positions with a strong emphasis on entrepreneurial personalities. Apart from the traditional executive search business he is consulted by several Private Equity firms for which he conducts management audits in portfolio companies.

Tom has a degree of Oxford university where he read Politics, Philosophy and Economics. He is in his forties, has three children, goes skiing in winter and swimming and sailing in summer.
