Jed Van Voorhis

Jed is a leader in the board search, cleantech, consumer products, life sciences & healthcare, specialty, and technology practice groups.

Jed brings to Boyden strong search experience in the targeted areas of financial service, electronics manufacturing, telecommunications, ERP software, IC design, medical device and diagnostics, and healthcare information technology industries. His client base ranges from start-up organizations to Fortune 500 corporations, for whom he has recruited presidents, country managers, regional managers, and chief technology officers as well as functional executives in sales & marketing, finance, human resources, and business development.

Prior to joining Boyden, Jed was the Greater China Director for a leading regional retained executive search practice. His work included opening and managing offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, as well as Taiwan.

A well-known member of Taiwan’s foreign business community, Jed is active in Taipei’s American Chamber of Commerce and European Council of Commerce and Trade.

He received a BA degree in politics and Chinese studies, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Arizona (US). He also studied under a graduate exchange scholarship at the National Taiwan Normal University. A US citizen, Jed is fluent in Mandarin.
