Doug Ehrenkranz is a Managing Director at Boyden. As a member of the Consumer Products and Industrial practice groups, Doug serves clients throughout the United States.

Prior to joining Boyden, Doug was Senior Partner in a boutique executive search firm and specialized in the Consumer Goods, Retail, and Industrial sectors.

Doug’s search experience has included everything from C-level and executive roles for middle market and smaller companies as well as VP and Director-level positions for larger, blue chip, Fortune 500 companies in B2B and B2C. Doug has recruited for a broad range of assignments in general management, marketing, sales, and operational roles. 

Doug brings to his search practice over two and a half decades of broad-based industry experience and knowledge, fresh contacts and perspective, and sensitivity to the needs of both clients and candidates. Doug personally leads each of his searches with a “hands-on” approach that has resulted in search delivery and completion well above the industry.

Prior to entering the executive search profession, Doug spent more than 25 years in industry, including 15 years in general management, sales, marketing and operations at leading companies like Procter & Gamble and PepsiCo. At Procter & Gamble, he held increasing levels of responsibility in soap and detergents, health and beauty aids, and food/beverage. In addition, Doug spent over a decade as an executive in several B2B-oriented companies in industrial commodities.

Doug earned a BA from The University of Arizona.  He has served on several University alumni and fundraising boards and serves on the local Board of Directors for Child Advocates.
