Gary Ong was responsible for the establishment of Boyden International Indonesia in 1993. Born in Malaysia, he was educated at the Pepperdine University in the United States, where he obtained a Bachelor of business degree.

After graduation, Mr. Ong spent four years with a financial services company in the United States. Upon his return to South East Asia, he spent two years with an Indonesian joint-venture company in the consumer products marketing where he was responsible for operations, sales and marketing.

Mr. Ong has successfully completed searches in the field of pharmaceutical, fast moving consumer products, banking, securities and investments, chemicals, telecommunications, insurance and engineering, for both local and multi-national companies. His years in Indonesia have provided him with a wide network of contacts in various industries.

Mr. Ong’s extensive knowledge of Indonesia, combined with his broad search experience in a diverse range of industries, enable him to advise clients to locating key executives.
