Boyden's Leadership Series Features Lamborghini's Stephan Winkelmann

NEW YORK and SANT’AGATA BOLOGNESE, ITALY, June 13, 2012 – Boyden, a global leader in executive search, today released its latest issue of the Boyden Leadership Series featuring an in-depth interview with Stephan Winkelmann, President & CEO of Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A.

Mr. Winkelmann was appointed CEO of Lamborghini in January 2005 and the company’s growth since his arrival has been recognized as one of the most successful turnaround programmes in the automotive and luxury sectors. For this accomplishment, Mr. Winkelmann was awarded the prestigious decoration of Grand Offiver in the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic in 2009. Prior to his appointment as CEO fo Lamborghini, Mr. Winkelmann served as CEO of Fiat Auto Austria, Switzerland and Germany, and prior to that he held international marketing and sales roles for Fiat Auto, and worked at Mercedez-Benz. He studied political science in Rome, took his degree at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich, and spent two years in the paratroopers in Germany, leaving as a lieutenant.
