Gustavo is a leader in Boyden Peru's board search, consumer products, financial services, human resources, industrial, life sciences & healthcare, specialty, and technology practice groups.

With vast experience in both local and international business, Gustavo has held top management positions in a variety of industries. His experience includes general management positions with Grupo Bunge & Born, Alicorp, Molinos Río de la Plata and Textil Trujillo, and Química del Pacífico (Quimpac). In addition, he was a partner at Amrop-Hever and President at TASA Worldwide, where he specialized in the financial services, mining, agro-industry, technology, telecommunications, fishing, and energy industries.

Prior to joining the executive search industry, he served as Secretary of Industry, Tourism and Trade as well as Secretary of Fishery and President of the Committee for the Promotion of Private Investment (COPRI) for the Peruvian Government. He was also President of the Board for the Andean Development Corporation (CAF) and a promoter of the Camisea gas mega project. At present he is Chairman of the Board at Cimm Peru and Member of the Board at Alicorp, CERPER and Quimpac.

Gustavo has a degree in industrial engineering from the Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (Peru), and holds an MBA from the Escuela Superior de Administración de Empresas (Argentina).
