Steve shuttles between Hong Kong and Shanghai to lead the financial services practice at Boyden China.

He started his career in general management and human resources consulting at companies including Arthur Andersen/Andersen Consulting and the MAC Group. In addition, at Hay Management Consultants, which at the time was the leading human resources consulting firm in Hong Kong, he was appointed General Manager.

Steve subsequently started his own executive search practice, and has enjoyed tremendous success. He focuses on the Asia region, with a particular expertise in middle to top management searches for the personal financial services, corporate and commercial banking, private banking, asset management, and insurance industries. He prides himself on the close business partnerships he has developed with his clients, many of whom have worked with him for well over ten years.

A Hong Kong-born Chinese, Steve obtained his MBA from Arizona State University (US), and his BA in business administration and psychology from Whittier College (US).
