Thomas has over fifteen years experience in senior executive search. 

He started his career as a statistician in the Department of Industry and Transportation in State Statistics Bureau of China, where he specialized in analysis and forecast of the development of industrial products and markets. After seven years he joined Beijing PEI International Economic and Trading Consulting Company as Research Manager.  He not only undertook market research in industry and consumer field but also provided executive search services for many multinational companies.  He then worked with Boyden as a search consultant between 1995 and 2008.

Thomas most recently has worked in a fast growing employment company to establish an executive selection team for its industrial and manufacturing practices. Afterwards he became Business Development Director in the largest recruitment total solution company in China. He successfully established a senior executive search business in industrial and manufacturing, green energy and financial investment for the company.

Returning as a Director of Boyden in China in 2011, Thomas specializes in the consumer goods and manufacturing sectors with functional concentrations in Human Resources, Financial and Accounting Management, Marketing and Sales.

Thomas obtained a Bachelor Degree in Statistics from People’s University of China, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from New Port University, USA.

Born in Chengdu city of Sichuan province and educated in Beijing, Thomas is fluent in Mandarin, English and the Sichuan dialect.
