Silicon Valley search leader Dan Grosh joins Boyden San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO – Boyden’s San Francisco Technology Practice is pleased to announce that Dan Grosh has joined the firm as Managing Director focusing on the executive hiring needs for Venture Capital and Private Equity backed companies. Dan’s expertise includes search projects for both public and private companies within the global technology, cleantech and industrial verticals. He has built numerous senior management teams, placing CEO's, CXO's, and General Managers. He has conducted assignments providing executive leadership talent in functions spanning engineering, sales, marketing, finance and operations. Because Dan has more than a decade of executive search experience, clients and industry executives frequently leverage Dan's perspective by seeking his advice on strategy as well as Board and company leadership selection.

Dan was a partner with a respected global retained search firm, where he led the Emerging Growth Companies Practice while also focusing on Fortune 1000 senior-level assignments. Dan also served as President of Grosh Associates for several years, a highly-successful boutique placement firm that he founded. He began his career with Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company.

Grosh holds an MBA from Golden Gate University and a BA in Communications from the University of Minnesota. He resides in the Bay Area with his wife, and enjoys golf, tennis, skiing, travel, and music. Dan also holds leadership roles within a number of local charity, community groups, and professional associations. He currently volunteers as the Co-Chair of the Start-Up U program for the Silicon Valley Association of Start-Up Entrepreneurs (SVASE).
