Boyden Leaders Named to Business Week's Updated World's Most Influential Recruiters List

Top global executive search firm's recognized leaders span across U.S., Europe and Asia/Pacific

NEW YORK – Three additional leaders of Boyden have been named to BusinessWeek’s World’s Most Influential Headhunters.  After selecting seven Boyden executive recruiters to their initial Top 100 list earlier this year, BusinessWeek’s Most Influential Headhunters Part 2 list includes fresh recognition of excellence for Boyden, a global leader in executive search with more than 70 offices in 40 countries. The new honorees include:

  • Jeanne Branthover, Head of Boyden’s Global Financial Services Practice and Managing Director, New York
  • Dr. Dirk Friederich, Head of Boyden´s Global Consumer Practice and Managing Partner, Boyden Germany
  • Roger Wilson, Managing Director, Boyden Singapore

“Boyden is honored that BusinessWeek has selected 10 market leaders in 2008,” said Trina Gordon, Chairman of Boyden World Corporation and Managing Director, Boyden Chicago. “Jeanne, Dirk and Roger have proven to be top of class, providing extraordinary client service, dedication and recognition among their peers.”

BusinessWeek considered a number of factors in selecting the top executive recruiters, including their individual reputations; their years of headhunting experience; the global scope of their recruiting practices; their accessibility and responsiveness; their high visibility within the client markets they serve; the recognition they enjoy within their firms and/or global executive search communities.

Ms. Branthover joined the firm in 2003 and she is a 25 year veteran of the industry.

Her practice includes Financial Services, Technology, Not-for-Profit and Board Services. She is a regular contributor to leading business television and financial media to offer her expertise on CEO and management strategy, succession planning and compensation issues.  Ms. Branthover has served as United Way’s first President of The Community Fund and currently sits on several not-for-profit boards.

Dr. Dirk Friederich has served as the Managing (Equity) Partner in Boyden Frankfurt, Germany since 2006 and he is widely known as a leader in European and German executive recruiting.  He previously served as a Managing Partner with two other leading global executive search firms.  Prior to executive search, Mr. Friederich worked for nine years for Nestle in Germany, holding several positions in marketing and sales.  He earned his Ph.D. at the University of Duisburg in Germany and St. Gallen, Switzerland and an MBA from the University of Munich.

Roger Wilson is the Managing Director of Boyden Singapore, specializing in Private Banking, Consumer Banking, Investment Banking and Professional Services placements.  Mr. Wilson joined Boyden in 2001 and he has lived and worked in Singapore for 14 years. Prior to search, Mr. Wilson served as Director of Corporate Finance of PriceWaterhouse. Earlier in London, he conducted corporate advisory assignments throughout Europe, which included assignments in Big 5 Accounting and for a top global bank.  Each year since 2004 he has been Boyden’s largest producer in Asia/Pacific and was the firm’s leading producer worldwide in 2004.

Earlier in the year, the Boyden leaders named to BusinessWeek’s Most Influential Headhunters list included Chris Clarke, President and CEO of Boyden World Corporation; Richard Fudickar, Managing Partner, Boyden Germany; Trina Gordon, Chairman, Boyden World Corporation; Pasi Kouvusaari, Senior Partner, Boyden Finland; Marc Lamy, Managing Partner, Boyden France; Tim McNamara, Managing Director, Boyden Washington, DC; and Dinesh Mirchandani, Managing Director, Boyden India.
