He is responsible for hiring into senior level executive positions ranging from Board and Chief Executive Officers to Directors across the MENA region.  His clients include a broad spectrum of financial institutions from regional start-ups to bulge bracket banks as well as government entities and Sovereign Wealth Funds. 

During a recruitment career spanning over 14 years, Kanu has been instrumental in establishing the Executive Search as well as the Banking and Finance divisions in London and Dubai respectively for a global recruitment consultancy.  Prior to joining Boyden, Kanu spent 21/2 years with a global financial services search consultancy in Dubai undertaking searches primarily within the GCC region. 

Before that he successfully conducted mid to senior level international and cross border mandates across a variety of sectors within Europe, SE Asia, Asian Sub-Continent, Africa, Caribbean and the Middle East. 

Kanu commenced his recruitment career in London within the financial services market after having graduated with a Business Studies degree.
