Matthew is the regional leader in industrial, infrastructure and board practices, with a particular emphasis on mandates for major Arab family groups, private equity houses, and sovereign wealth funds. He also focuses on board evaluation and assessment, executive coaching, and senior HR consulting projects with regional clients.

Matthew has nearly two decades of successful experience in the global recruitment and executive search industries. He has worked in Hong Kong, London, and Dubai for three leading global recruitment and executive search firms, hiring into over 40 countries worldwide across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas.

Matthew started his career with a specialization in the real estate, construction, retail and consumer arenas. He then turned his focus on delivering CXO level board roles for UK and European private equity firms, along with major plc’s across all sectors. Upon moving to Dubai he ran the Middle East operation for a leading boutique executive search firm prior to joining Boyden.

He holds a BSc (Hons) degree gained in the UK.
