TiE

TiE, a not-for-profit global network of entrepreneurs and professionals, was founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley, California, USA. Although its birth name, The Indus Entrepreneurs, signifies the ethnic South Asian or Indus roots of the founders, TiE stands for Talent, Ideas and Enterprise. It is an open and inclusive organization that has rapidly grown to more than 53 chapters in 12 countries. TiE seeks to cultivate and nurture the ecosystem of entrepreneurship and free-market economies everywhere, as it sees this to be the single most powerful instrument of prosperity.

SVASE

Founded in 1995, The Silicon Valley Association of Startup Entrepreneurs (SVASE) is the largest and fastest growing nonprofit association in Northern California dedicated exclusively to helping technology entrepreneurs – from the idea through product launch – build successful businesses, across a variety of technology driven industries (Clean Energy, Digital Media, Life Sciences, Mobile, Next Generation Internet, Security, Software, Semiconductors and more.)
