His firm was nationally recognized by the National Association of African American Human Resources (NAAAHR) as one of the top ten national organizations supporting Black community workplace growth and promotion.
Before founding his search firm, Michael held many top management positions in banking and other industries. He served as Vice President, Human Resources for Hibernia Bank; Head of World Banking Division/Retail Banking and Management Recruitment for Bank of America; and Head of Recruitment for a significant division of Levi Strauss & Company.

Michael has been quoted extensively in Black Enterprise Magazine (BE), most notably in a BE cover story that identified the "Top Twenty Five Black Executives in Corporate America." He has also been featured in the Wall Street Journal's Business Employment Weekly, the San Francisco Chronicle and has written articles for the Society of Human Resources (SHRM) national journal. He has often been invited to share his expertise on the primary topic of "The business case for 'Inclusion,' to benefit the bottom line of an organization."
Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in education/behavioral science from Mansfield University and a Masters in secondary education from Elmira College (US). He is also a graduate of the Masters Industrial & Labor Relations (MILR) School at Cornell's School of Industrial & Labor Relations.
