Trevor Pritchard has ten years of senior executive recruiting experience and over twenty years of line management and leadership experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries in the United States, Europe, Latin America, and the Pacific Rim countries.

Prior to joining Boyden, Trevor began his executive search career as Vice President at a boutique retained executive search firm focused on the pharmaceuticals and biotechnology sectors.  Subsequently, Trevor broadened his searches in the Life Sciences when he joined a leading executive search firm in the healthcare industry based in Austin, TX, as Executive Vice President.  Under Trevor’s direction, the firm successfully established its first remote office, located in California, expanding into additional offices in Northern California, Illinois, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania thereafter.  Over his ten-plus years of retained executive search experience, Trevor has successfully completed multiple engagements for a broad array of biopharmaceutical and med tech clients, ranging from development-stage companies to Fortune 500 multinationals.

Trevor has collaborated closely with Boards, CEO’s, hiring managers and staffing organizations on searches for Board level positions, CEOs, Presidents, and all functional levels across multiple Life Science verticals.  Trevor also has a strong track record in successfully identifying and recruiting research, scientific, regulatory, clinical/product development, and technical leaders, whether from leading academic institutions or from within the industry itself.

Prior to executive search, Trevor was President at Mentor Corporation, at the time a publicly traded medical devices company, now a Division of Ethicon, a Johnson & Johnson company. He also held positions of Executive Vice President of International Sales & Marketing and Executive Vice President for Business Development and Strategic Planning for Sherwood/Davis & Geck, a $1 billion medical devices company that was a Division of Wyeth (now Pfizer).  Trevor began his career at American Cyanamid and then with Wyeth, leading to various senior management roles in headquarters and expatriate assignments.

Trevor received his BSc. in Economics (magna cum laude) from Seton Hall University and his MBA from Columbia University, with concentrations in Marketing, Finance, and International Business.  Trevor is also a fluently bilingual Spanish speaker and, as time permits, he volunteers as an Adult Literacy Tutor.
