Urszula Szostek is the Managing Partner of Boyden office based in Warsaw. Urszula specializes in senior management appointments in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe. She handles executive assignments across all sectors including: retail, consumer goods and services, financial services, telecommunications, various industrial areas and life sciences.

She helped establish a top search firm business in the Polish market from scratch. Prior to joining that firm, Urszula was with another leading international executive search firm, where she was partner and a member of the international board. She established and lead the Polish office of that organization, which, during her leadership, became the first fully integrated and independent member coming from Central and Eastern Europe.

Prior to joining the executive search industry, Urszula worked at the Ministry of Finance and the government ministry level organization Foreign Investment Agency, where she was engaged in the campaign of attracting Poland as a place to invest. Additionally, she was involved in screening investment projects of multinational companies interested in entering the Polish market. She participated in government discussions with various financial institutions such as World Bank, EBRD, Know-How Found and Phare Found. She went through extensive corporate finance training at Commonwealth Development Corporation under auspices of Know-How Found under the government of Margaret Thatcher.

Urszula, in addition to her native Polish, speaks English and Russian. She holds a master’s degree in economics with specialization in foreign trade from Warsaw School of Economics (SGPiS).
