Boardroom and Leadership experts further build Boyden’s corner office offering 

WASHINGTON, D.C., June 15, 2020 Boyden, a premier leadership and talent advisory firm with more than 65 offices in over 40 countries, today announced Jim Gibbons and Dr. Christina Greathouse have joined the firm as Senior Advisors.

Gibbons is the former President and CEO of Goodwill Industries International and Greathouse is an accomplished industrial/organizational psychologist who is well-known for her consultation on all critical aspects of leadership and human resources.

“Jim and Christina are tremendous additions as senior advisors to Boyden’s CEO & Board Services practice – they will consult to our partners and clients globally,” said Craig Stevens, a Boyden Board Member, U.S. Chairman and Managing Partner.  “I have had the privilege of working with both Jim and Chris for 20 years, observing them enhance board performance.”

Gibbons is an accomplished chief executive and entrepreneur with a track record delivering results. Prior to Goodwill, he served as President and CEO of National Industries for the Blind and President and CEO of AT&T CampusWide Access Solutions (subsidiary of AT&T.) Gibbons will also serve as a key advisor in Boyden’s Social Impact Practice.

Dr. Greathouse has assisted a range of clients, both for-profit and not-for-profit, with HR issues including executive search, succession planning, compensation, strategic planning, assessment and selection and performance management. She has served as an adjunct faculty member of Marymount University School of Business Administration and an executive professor at George Mason University’s School of Management. Earlier, she served as a Managing Director of Fosters Partners Executive Search, a KPMG alliance firm. 

Gibbons holds numerous awards including the Jefferson Award for Public Service and was appointed to the White House Council Community Solutions by President Obama. He was named to the Nonprofit Times’ Power and Influence Top 50 five times between 2010-2017. Gibbons holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Purdue University and was the first blind person ever to earn an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Dr. Greathouse, a frequent speaker on work motivation, employee engagement and performance,

holds a Ph.D. in industrial/organizational psychology from George Mason University and master’s degree in counseling psychology form Wheaton Graduate School. She graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree from Barnard College, Columbia University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
