Featuring top para-athletes facing off for four days of intense competition in #2019PHCanadaCup

Dates: 11 July 2019 - 14 July 2019

Location: Toronto, CA

Powerhockey is a parasport for individuals with physical disabilities that use a power wheelchair in their everyday life. The sport is inclusive by nature, allowing para-athletes of varying disabilities to participate together, regardless of gender or age.  Para-athletes are able to compete to the best of their ability and excel in a competitive sports environment. Off the floor, the sport fosters lifelong friendships and relationships that cross borders, creating a strong, tight-knit community.

PowerHockey Canada is a new not-for-profit national organization that is focused on growing the sport of powerhockey at a grassroots level across the nation as well as developing a high-performance training program in order to better prepare our para-athletes for international competitions.

From July 11-14, 2019, powerhockey teams from across North America will descend on Toronto to compete to become the inaugural PowerHockey Canada Cup champions! All the action will go down at Humber College, featuring top para-athletes facing off for four days of intense competition!

Boyden is proud to support PowerHockey Canada’s inaugural #2019PHCanadaCup as event sponsors.
